Huge thanks to @nhlunites for hosting and honoring this year’s Willie O’Ree Community Hero Award finalists in NYC this week. We are endlessly proud of the incredible work these leaders are doing to grow the game and make their communities stronger.

A special shoutout to our very own @asobotka77, whose tireless work and big heart continue to make CGHA a space where everyone can feel safe, welcomed, and celebrated. We’re so proud to see him recognized and so excited to keep building a more inclusive future for hockey together.

Closing out Market Days 2025 with a final toast! Our player banquet was the perfect way to wrap up an incredible weekend of hockey, connection, and community. We loved meeting new friends, reuniting with familiar faces, and celebrating everything that makes this community so special. You all made the social events just as unforgettable as the games.

Thank you for showing up, showing out, and reminding us why this isn’t just hockey — it’s a home for all of us to belong, grow, and thrive together.

Our last Market Days dump before we start counting down to the next one. Huge thanks to everyone who made the weekend so magical — we had an absolute blast and couldn’t have done it without you!

Big congrats to @bostonpridehockey for taking home the competitive division title and @seapridehockey for snagging the rec division win. You’re both superstars!

Eric went b2b with awards this year at Fifth Third’s BAHL, winning:
-Jonathan Toews Award – Summer 2025 MVP
-Connor Murphy Award – Winter/Spring 2025 Best Sportsmanship

On the ice, he’s a force. Off the ice, he’s the kind of teammate who makes everyone laugh so hard they forget they lost 7-1.
