Many of you asked about his family, expressing some concern for him. Elephants have extremely strong bonds within their family. This is why poaching, culling, hunting, tourism (elephants used in entertainment) impact the herds together with the bonds the bulls establish with their mates once they leave the herd. Elephants are sentient, they do think, they do feel and they do have the presence of mind to understand their surroundings. They are highly intelligent animals and they are highly evolved animals.
