Happy Sunday! This album #TheMendAlbum 2016 was written about the #GLOBALWARMING #CLIMATECRISIS #environmentalcrisis and all of the social and political issues and our personal attitudes around it. The photos done with @brianbowensmith were to depict how we need to take care of Mother Earth and each other. At the end of the day, Earth will be here, and human life will not be sustainable for most of us. This is a serious issue and I urge you to read #anUninhabitableEarth. If you don’t have the patience for a book, he wrote a New Yorker article about it. We are talking about a BILLION climate refugees, no water, the UN has already said it is affecting the worlds food supply. If we do nothing 64% of California will be on fire EVERY YEAR. And the unthinkable by calculations of a respected scientist: no child under the age of 5 will live past 60 because of #antibioticresistance. Guess what that means: if you’re RICH, it won’t save you. Didn’t save Malibu. And the The bees. No bees, no Us. Our oceans. We are at critical mass. Lower Brooklyn and Queens will most definitely be under water in our lifetime. Not even talking about all the beautiful animals that will be extinct. Please take this seriously AND VOTE ACCORDINGLY. and ps I didn’t read this on a blog. I have talk to scientists and read actual reports. We may not even have 9 years left to reverse it. Many scientists say five. Look into this. Read that book by #davidwallacewells and do something.
