The judiciary and the House have been our ONLY check/balance since the 2016 election. Last night @repadamschiff held an event with our Cali reps and I had real hope - that we can get some sense of democracy back. If you don’t know about these fine humans who believe in public service, please look up some of their videos. @repadamschiff Told a heartwarming story about @senjohnmccain And how both sides respected and worked together for AMERICANS. Democrats are not “socialists” “communists” but as @repkatieporter said “I am a capitalist and I believe in a system that works for all ... we have a shared responsibility with Capitalism that we make sure it works for all not a few.” I got to finally meet Ted Lieu, a veteran, man of strong faith and values and who fights for what is right . Biggest takeaway: IF YOU WANT HEALTHCARE that doesn’t bankrupt you, if you want fair prices on your prescriptions, if you want fair elections, if you want to drink clean water, breathe clean air, see a future on this planet that is inhabitable for your children and grandchildren, VOTE VOTE AND GET OUT IN YOUR COMMUNITY IN NUMBERS. if you see a “meme” as your reason to vote or not vote for someone, you are part of the problem. Don’t let the bots influence your own critical thinking.
