It’s ironic that #TigerKing is the most trending entertainment and meme-creating image right now. The audacious trashy loud and unconsious exploiters of animals are being used as cosplay. There is an underlying (or obvious) story: These folks exploited and hurt innocent animals. They were awful people. This is a disconnect we have between ourselves and nature. These people should not be celebrated. Nor pardoned. It’s not funny. There’s a lot of funny out there... and for me while we are living and dying because of exploiting animals, maybe I’m a snowflake... I dunno. I celebrate those on the front lines who put these abusers in jail and have helped these animals. The current situation we are in with #COVID19 is because we exploited animals. And before someone says CHINA!!!! we also are responsible for 20% of that market and the tourism and financial structure that supports it. Some day we may be the originators by say, having so much monoculture and Mon$anto that we create an antibiotic resistant bacteria. I hope through this sad time in the world we can find 🌿hope🌿 to come together and understand this. Simply be there for one another. And somehow in reflection we see what is *really important. We need nature. Nature does not need us. We need each other. Unhealthy unchecked unconscious capitalism will be the end of our planet. #climateemergency #wildlifephotography #wildliferescue #coronavirus #mothernature 📷 @stratihov
