Día 94 // When I was a kid, I was so afraid of dead fish that I prematurely flushed my two goldfish, Bill and Hillary, down the toilet and then only took baths for a year for fear that their skeletal bodies would come out of the showerhead to exact their revenge. In the grocery store, I squeezed my eyes shut and ran past the seafood section; on a canoe trip at summer camp, I capsized a boat in a hysterical frenzy after glimpsing the body of a trout floating by. While their beady, penetrating eyes still make me uneasy, I've been able to largely retire my childhood fear, and this glassy little guy I stumbled upon on the beach in Tulum looked downright beautiful. #100DaysOfMexico
