Love you Alain! 💛🎶🙏 ✨Backstory: When i was a kid, the only consistent thing i had was my music. So every time we moved, i made sure i had my records and my dinky record player. Last Halloween, i was lying on my living room floor, thinking about the time we lived in a trailer in the woods outside of New Orleans, and i would just stay in my room, play my records, drown out the world, and stare at the music floating off the LP. That was the perfect place. I wrote "weightless" in an instant, recalling that memory. when i got the album final back from @jamesvember @genebautista, they had put the vinyl sample on there. i was moved to tears. I knew they had heard me, my story, and it was an act of care and kindness and love to put it on the track. ✨
