Happy Father's Day to all you amazing dads. I have so many beautiful strong fathers around me! I wear my grandfather's necklace today to remind me how much he shaped who i am. He taught me -no one works"for" you, they work *with* you -currency is of character, not of status -be generous, never keep tabs -always take a risk in love, nothing is guaranteed in life (his actual words were "Aw, hell, life's a gamble. Take one."). Taking risks in life may not have always garnered the result I thought I was going to get, but always have given me the things I needed, sometimes greater rewards than I could have imagined, even if they were lessons to make me better.
