It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Nola, a critically #endangered northern white #rhino who had been living at the @sdzsafaripark since 1989. Nola had been under veterinary care for a bacterial infection as well as age-related issues. She was an iconic animal to the many staff who cared for her, our volunteers, guests, and for her species worldwide.
