“I don’t really agree with it [Congress same-sex laws]. In all honesty, God has laid out commandments in the Bible. I’m a Christian by the way. He’s laid out his plan for humanity clearly in the Bible.

That just doesn’t line up with the way he created us. That’s not what he intended.

It is kind of hard [to share my views] because most people don’t agree with my views, so naturally it’s going to be kind of hard. I can still be very bold, but it’s not easy. It’s hard doing that over and over again.” - Lucas Stroia, 21 Photo by @reaglynn_ #LGBT #sexuality #gender #spectrum #gay #bisexual #straight #transgender #male #female #identity

  • levicitoddIf you follow everything the Bible says, why isn't divorce illegal? Why are tattoos legal? Why are clothes made with multiple types of fabric allowed? Even better: why are we expecting our government to ascribe to Christianity when there is a clear separation of church and state?
  • lachancla22Good questions for sure. the nation of Israel was told not to wear tattoos because, those who wore them had symbols and signs from their gods. Clothing fabrics mixed together was not to be wore bc there was to be a distinction between the people of Israel and the high priest, which represented God. This reminded the Israelites about the holiness of God himself. So we follow the principles, although these commands were made for the nation of Israel, they still apply in some ways. Christians believe God governs over us,so In this view point, state and church aren't separated. freedom of religion is a reality, so we keep them separated in the U.S. I also don't speak for everyone. There are many different Christians/religions. Just my viewpoint I guess.
  • ibrianahI don't agree with Lucas, but I commend him for being honest about his views. This can be hard today
