So, this is about as raw and as vulnerable as it gets. I made a decision to see how far my little body could go. Changed the food. Started lifting weights. Let the body tell the mind if it wanted more, or if it needed rest. In six days, I get to take this very different body back to Maui, and swim the ocean, ride the hills, and run the crater. So grateful! I can't believe this is actually mine, to accept and love and take care of. It's been so hard to build muscle, to gain each pound back and build a body that can go on these adventures! My friend says tumeric tastes like eating dirt! To my taste buds and my gut, bone broth and tumeric make my immune system hum a happy tune! I use the Slow Cook setting on my Instant Pot.
