When I was a teenager I had countless kidney infections and spent a lot of time in and out of hospital. - I learned a lot about how to take care of my kidneys and what to do to prevent any risks. Such as drinking lots of water and exercising. We will be sure to teach our boys to look after their kidneys and are super stoked to help spread awareness around this topic. Kidney disease is not a key health concern for many Australians, but the reality is that 1 in 3 adults are at risk. Unfortunately, it’s also known as the ‘silent disease’ since there are often no warning signs, and it is not uncommon for people to lose up to 90% of their kidney function before experiencing any symptoms.
