The past 24 hours have been a whirlwind of card-making, Valentine's box decorating and sweets procuring and I'm looking forward to eating something yummy with my little family later tonight....but I do need to send a thank you into the universe to these two lovebirds. Thank you mom and dad for making Valentine's a special day in our house when I was little and I hope that when my guys grow up they treasure it just as much as I do. #lovelovelove
So thankful for time with my sis and her adorable family this weekend to remind me what really counts in my life. In a time when listening to the news causes me daily moments of panic, I cherish simple moments of love like this one. These are the memories I want to remember. These are the moments I want to shape my world. #pnwonderland

Love all the whimsical foodie finds you can pick up at #pikeplacemarket. The adorable plush cat donuts at this stand are not edible but they totally made me smile today and remember some fun donuts I ate in Hong Kong last summer. #seattlelocal
We have made pancakes, played outside with the neighbors, built indoor forts and lunched and now I'm ready for the mountains of snow to wash away a little so I can go get coffee made by someone other than me.
