Ivankacare revealed by the GOP lead senate today to be crueler and more evil than our worst nightmares...
Ivanka - "The Times They Ain't A Changing Fast Enough." Today the "fake news" is frothing at the mouth about your father's ill advised tweets, Russia, and all that. We are laser focused on the miscarriage of justice in the murder of Philando Castile. Russia can't distract from yet another cop exonerated for the unjust murder of a man simply because of the color of his skin. Your father's administration is anxious to traffic in violence when it benefits him politically; we suggest that all violence is abhorrent. Castile joins a tragic litany of victims sacrificed on the altar of systemic injustice that will worsen under this Administration. We hang our heads in shame and think of the Castile family.
Dear @ivankatrump, Oh don't you wish he was your Daddy? Not a fake billionaire, or even a fake republican? Someone who, despite so many differences, New York could get behind. Bloomberg is spearheading an effort for America to stay in the Paris Accords, working from the ground up, donating the 15 million it will be short because your Father dropped out, and collecting the cities and businesses that will independently chose to abide by the agreement. Ain't nothing Washington can do about it. Could you ever imagine your father or husband making such a gesture? Not on your life. Not in your lifetime. Not even you. When any of you donate, it is usually to the tune of a drop in the bucket (yes we know, you work work worked for it), while your husband squeezes pennies out of his renters, leaving the rest of the world to mop up your family's misdeeds. How will you return to a city whose headline today was "Trump to World: Drop Dead"? We can't wait. Dear @ivankatrump, Happy Memorial Day. Today we honor the men and women who have fought and given their lives in wars around the world so that we can enjoy liberty and peace at home. On this day of remembrance, we can't help but be distracted by the news this weekend of your husband Jared's alleged back channel collusion with Russian government officials taking place during the transition leading up to your father's swearing in as President and Commander-in-chief. It's always something with you people. Your dad is quoted in the New York Times: "Jared is doing a great job for the country. I have total confidence in him. He is respected by virtually everyone... In addition to that, and perhaps more importantly, he is a very good person." One of your husband's former employees at The New York Observer, Harleen Kahlon, had this to say however, at Politico: "We're talking about a guy who isn't particularly bright or hard-working, doesn't actually know anything, has bought his way into everything ever (with money he got from his criminal father), who is deeply insecure and obsessed with fame (you don't buy the NYO, marry Ivanka Trump, or constantly talk about the phone calls you get from celebrities if it's in your nature to 'shun the spotlight'), and who is basically a shithead." She goes on to describe the time your husband failed to pay her a promised year-end performance bonus at the newspaper. Nice one. On a day when we ought to stop to pay respect to our nation's history as well as the heroic individuals who sacrificed their lives in service to this country, here we are instead, learning more and more about a petty group of incompetent clowns racked with at least a generation's worth of inherited corruption and guilt, people like you who never pass up an opportunity to leap headfirst into shady international business dealings under the guise of foreign diplomacy. Dear @IvankaTrump, It was reported that you wept when your father refused to apologize for his “grab them by the pussy” tirade.  Reading this, we were catapulted back to when we first started Halt Action Group and momentarily believed we could reach you! Since you were driven to tears by your dad's wonton refusal to express a shred of remorse, we have tried to understand how you sleep at night knowing the world he builds is an assault on our collective sanity?  After 100 days of your silent complicity, we now wonder if you were actually shedding crocodile tears?  How can you let a “sexist, racist, homophobic, bigoted, pessimistic global terror” attempt to run this country into the ground?  The mental warfare this administration is inflicting on us is unprecedented. We ask: under these circumstances, how can blood be thicker than water? You have children: is this the type of society you envision for them—one that strips people of their basic humanity and our planet of natural resources, while promoting terror, discriminating against most everyone except a few rich, white men? Ivanka, will you not rise from the ashes of the mess your father is creating, one that you have been enabling, to help us reverse the social, economic, and cultural disaster created in just over 100 days of your father's "presidency"? Dear @ivankatrump, I'm sure you know everyone has now heard that you used a quote from Toni Morrison's heartbreaking novel Beloved in order to speak about being busy as a corporate executive- “Bit by bit ... she had claimed herself. Freeing yourself was one thing; claiming ownership of that freed self was another.” Perhaps what you didn't know was that the book is about the pains of black motherhood in slavery from rape to having infant after infant torn from your hands, some to be sold and others to be killed. To add insult to injury, you then tweeted about your #womenwhoworkbook using this video of you dancing with your well looked after children to promote a book when you said you wouldn't because of ethical violations. On the very same day, rape and pregnancy are now preexisting conditions under your father's health plan. While Ivanka is busy not officially promoting her #womenwhoworkbook today, she tweeted a glowing article about herself from workingmother.com entitled “10 Times Ivanka Trump Gets Real about Working Motherhood.” The mothers of HALT also want to celebrate some of Ivanka’s choicer moments of candor in her stealthily promoted publication! We bet that the ethics lawyers over at @portfolio_books and @penguinbooks put in a lot of thought to the convenient timing of the indirect media blitz about Ivanka the super mom! We even heard she actually acknowledges the nannies in her book more than once!
