Today is the last day of #BiggestMorningTea! Our amazing hosts and community supporters across Australia have helped raise over $3 million for cancer research, advocacy, prevention and support programs for people affected by cancer. Thanks for keeping us posted along the way, we’ve seen delicious spreads brimming with fruit and veg in May and June. And for the bakers, there’s nothing wrong with indulging at a morning tea occasionally – just remember to maintain a healthy diet and lead an active lifestyle to reduce your cancer risk!

Bringing the community together and seeing everyone's smiling faces is what we love about #BiggestMorningTea. We've seen everything from pet-friendly tea parties, unicorn and fairy dress-ups and some amazing food platters! Check out all the action so far on the official hashtag, and don't forget there's plenty of time to host until the end of June.

#BiggestMorningTea is a great excuse to connect with your colleagues over a cuppa. The awesome team @energetiks temporarily swapped their dance gear for aprons to gather and share homemade goods and give generously towards cancer research, advocacy, prevention and support programs for people affected by cancer! It's not too late to #GatherShareGive - host any time between now until the end of June!

#GatherShareGive is the theme of #BiggestMorningTea this year. Generous donations from the community in May and June help us to gather the knowledge of leading experts in cancer research, share programs and resources to help prevent cancer in our communities, and give support to people at all stages of the cancer journey. #BiggestMorningTea is happening all over NSW! We'd like to say a special thank you to Ada from Newcastle who is one of our longest standing community hosts. In 1999, Ada’s brother Leonard was diagnosed with cancer. It was the first time her family had come face to face with the illness, it was also the year that Ada decided to host her first Biggest Morning Tea. Over the past 17 years, Ada has raised $50,000 for Cancer Council's research, advocacy, prevention and support programs for people affected by cancer. Well done Ada! Also, a big thank you to Will and Steve for their amazing ongoing support!

What a gorgeous spread the team at @empireestateagents put on for their recent #BiggestMorningTea! With one Australian diagnosed with cancer approximately every 5 minutes - the length of an average tea break - either we or someone we know will be affected. Let's #GatherShareGive this May or June to help ensure a cancer-free future

We challenge all of our hosts to consider how they can make their recipes brim with healthy ingredients – think less sugar, less fat, more fruit and more veggies!
