Murray corrected the reporter after he said Sam Querrey (who knocked Murray out of Wimbledon earlier) was “the first US player to reach a major semi-final since 2009.” Murray interjected with the words “male player," effectively calling out the reporter for overlooking the achievements of US female players. Not to mention that this isn’t the first time he's done so. Thank you, Andy Murray for speaking up!

Pics from yesterday’s event in Dublin, where attendees gained insights from our myth-busting research, reflected on systematic barriers, networked, and thought about how they can make change in their companies regarding women’s advancement. Margot Slattery, country president Sodexo Ireland, Sandra Ondraschek-Norris, Senior Director, Catalyst Europe, and Mary Mitchell-O'Connor, TD, Minister of State at the Department of Education with special responsibility for higher education (pictured above).

Catalyst Europe’s Sandra Ondraschek-Norris (left) with with Margot Slattery (right), Country President of Sodexo Ireland, at yesterday’s #DisruptTheDefault event, which took place in Dublin. The event was about closing gender gaps for women in #tech. Event attendees learned from Catalyst’s myth-busting research, reflected on how leaders can address systemic barriers, and networked with industry professionals. Overall it was a fantastic day filled with thought-provoking dialogue!
