Wrapping up a great week of VBS at Jubilee Church here in Pachuca, Mexico! The kids had fun ✔️and they learned about who God is! ✔️and they leaned some ridiculous dance moves! #impactolatinointernship #VBS #CasaDeMiPadre #Day31

Did you know the largest churches in history and currently are Cell Churches? A South Korean Cell church, Yoido Full Gospel Church, now has over 1,000,000 members! This is not just 1,000,000 people showing up on Sunday filling a pew, this is 1,000,000 people weekly in homes focusing on Discipleship, Community, Growth, and multiplying their Cells to reach the lost. who then come together each week to celebrate. The cells are the church, not the Sunday service. Cell Ministry isn't some step by step program you can run at your church, it's a process of discipleship that has proved VERY effective in training all christians to be leaders. Definitely would be worth your time to read and learn more about the principles and perspective of Cell Ministry. Kicking off 1 week before VBS here in Pachuca for Jubilee Church!!! Which means a lot of cutting, gluing, painting, ribbon, and glitter!!! Let the games begin!!

After church, our Host family took us to the Central Plaza of Pachuca where you can find a clock tower. The mechanics are an exact replica of the Big Ben Tower in London which was a gift for their independence. You can also see the famous Mural Houses which was a city project painted by felons and convicts. We then were driven way up in the mountains to the tallest city in Mexico, Real del Monte where the Paste (Baked pastry stuffed with beans and potatoes) was created and the first ever soccer game was played in Mexico!! Well that's a wrap! 2 weeks with this wonderful family, Julieta and Mariano Rodas. Anything we needed, they did all they could to help us.
